Tarique Rahman stands by families of July uprising martyrs in Jhenaidah

A delegation of Amra BNP Paribar today met the families of July mass uprising martyrs in Jhenaidah and exchanged views with them.

At the directives of Bangladesh Nationalist Party Acting Chairman and chief patron of 'Amra BNP Paribar' Tarique Rahman, the delegation went to the residence of Shaheed Rakibul Hossain at Basudebpur village under Harinakunda Upazila in Jhenaidah district where they met family member of martyrs, said a press release.

Atiqur Rahman Rumon, convener of 'Amra BNP Paribar' and member of BNP Media Cell, conveyed message of condolence to families of martyrs on behalf of Tarique Rahman.

'Amra BNP Paribar' Member Secretary Agriculturist Moksedul Momin Mithun, members Masud Rana Liton, Mustakim Billah, Farhad Ali Sajib and Shahadat Hossain were present.

Jhenaidah District BNP President Advocate MA Mazid, General Secretary Zahiduzzaman Mona, former student leader Engineer Hasnain Manjur Morshed Imon, Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal central committee Vice-President Habibul Bashar, Joint Secretary Hasnain Nahian Sajeeb, Chhatra Dal Private University Unit Joint General Secretary Moshiur Rahman Mohan, Chhatra Dal's Dhaka College Unit Literary and Publication Secretary Abdullah Al Misbah were present among others.

Shaheed Rakibul Hossain, son of Md. Abu Bakkar Siddique of Basudebpur village of Harinakunda upazila of Jhenaidah, and Sabbir Mandal, son of Amad Ali Mandal of Mirzapur village of Shailkupa upazila, were killed in firing of law enforcers during the students-led mass movement in Jhenaidah.
