Music is in my blood, says singer Mamun

Music is in my blood, I will sing till I die, lyrics by Mamun, the well-known face singer of the time. The singer, who has already made a name for himself on stage and in original songs, shared his dreams and realities about music in an exclusive conversation with this reporter. Name singer Mamun, full name Md. Shafiqul Islam Mamun. Born and brought up in Srirampur village of Raipura upazila of Narsingdi district.

Since childhood, this artist has been humming songs unconsciously since his childhood and had a dream to become a popular singer when he grew up. Because Mamun has acquired music from the family environment, his grandfather Sadu, a local song master, was a popular music master in the area, and his father, Sirajul Islam, was both a dramatist and a vocalist. Mamun first learned singing at a local academy, later this artist used to sing regularly at various programs in the area. He had a distinct love for folk songs and baul songs.

Singer Mamun has covered several popular songs of Lalon, among which several songs have gained great popularity. Very soon this artist will appear in front of the audience with his original songs, and this singer told this reporter that he wants to live among the audience by singing well-written and melodious songs. When asked about his dream and reality about music, Mamun also said, I am a son of a musical family, so music flows in my blood. But the way the music is going now seems to be in the competition all the time. It is a lot of responsibility to survive in them, but I am and will be with music. He also said, I have kept the song in my heart. Everyone please pray that I can sing better songs. It is my dream to be able to sing songs of good singers and composers.
