Grand Opening of Kuakata’s First Five-Star Hotel 'Krishibid Sea Palace'

The grand opening ceremony of Kuakata’s first five-star hotel, 'Krishibid Sea Palace,' was held today at the five-star Sheraton Hotel in the capital. This remarkable project, initiated by Krishibid Properties Limited and operated under the prestigious five-star chain Retaj Hotels and Hospitality from Qatar, is expected to be a milestone for Bangladesh's tourism sector, taking it to new heights.

The event was graced by the presence of His Excellency Seraya Ali Al-Qahtani, Ambassador of Qatar to Bangladesh, as the chief guest. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of economic relations between Bangladesh and Qatar and stated, “An international standard five-star hotel like this in Kuakata will showcase Bangladesh’s tourism industry on the global stage.”

Former Chief Election Commissioner of Bangladesh, Justice Mohammad Abdur Rouf, attended as a special guest. In his speech, he highlighted the potential of the country’s tourism industry and said, “Such high-standard establishments will create new employment opportunities in the tourism sector and play a significant role in the country’s economic growth.”

Dr. Ali Afzal, Managing Director of Krishibid Group, expressed his pride during his opening speech, stating, “We are proud that Krishibid Sea Palace will open a new horizon in Kuakata's tourism and hospitality sector. We are hopeful that it will become a popular destination for both domestic and international tourists.”

The event was attended by various officials and employees of Krishibid Properties Ltd. Guests were briefed on the hotel’s share prices, project completion timeline, and the range of services and amenities it will offer. Attendees also expressed hopes for even better services for future visitors to Kuakata. It was announced that throughout September, there will be a 25% discount on shares of the hotel, and buyers will have the option to purchase shares with monthly installments starting at just BDT 5,250.

Once construction is completed, Krishibid Sea Palace is expected to provide world-class service and experiences to tourists in Kuakata, and it is anticipated that this hotel will significantly contribute to enhancing not just Kuakata, but the entire country’s tourism industry.
