The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of a lamp. As part of the day\u2019s program, a running race was held at the Circuit House grounds at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 22, followed by a tree-planting ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hindi Diwas was celebrated through various activities at the Assistant High Commission of India in Khulna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier, on the morning of Monday, Pawan Kumar, the Assistant High Commissioner of India in Khulna, inaugurated the Hindi Diwas festivities by lighting the ceremonial lamp at the Assistant High Commission premises on Shamsur Rahman Road in the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Assistant High Commissioner Pawan Kumar delivered a speech welcoming and extending greetings to everyone present at the \u2018Hindi Diwas and Hindi Fortnight-2026\u2019 event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program featured poetry recitation, a quiz competition, and an impromptu speech contest in Hindi. Indian citizens residing in Khulna, High Commission officials and staff (along with their children), Indian students studying at Khulna Gazi Medical College, and invited guests participated in the events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, as part of the three-day Hindi Diwas celebrations, various competitions\u2014including art\/illustration and essay writing\u2014were held for High Commission officials and staff.
