Reports stated that an unfinished trailer of \u201cBeyond the Spider-Verse\u201d was shared on X on Thursday (13 August). The trailer is not expected to be out before next year. Reacting to the same, the film\u2019s co-writer and producer Christopher Miller expressed his discontent with the leak on Friday, writing, \u201cNot a fan of leaks of unfinished, not fully rendered footage.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBeyond the Spider-Verse\u201d is the latest major Hollywood film to have been hit by a leak. Earlier, Christopher Nolan\u2019s \u201cThe Odyssey\u201d and Marvel-Sony\u2019s joint production \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day\u201d were also leaked on X after their theatrical releases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier this year, the full version of \u201cAvatar Aang: The Last Airbender\u201d also leaked online before its Paramount streaming release. A 26-year-old man was later arrested in Singapore for illegally accessing a media server and leaking the film, as per Variety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About \u201cBeyond the Spider-Verse\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBeyond the Spider-Verse\u201d will wrap up the story of Miles Morales as Spider-Man. The first footage was exclusively shown at CinemaCon earlier this year. The film is the third instalment in the extremely successful Spider-Verse franchise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Following Morales\u2019 big-screen debut in \u201cSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse\u201d, the character appeared in 2023\u2019s \u201cSpider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse\u201d. \u201cInto the Spider-Verse\u201d grossed $395 million worldwide on a $90-million budget. The sequel was an even bigger success, grossing $690 million on a $125 million budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBeyond the Spider-Verse\u201d will show Miles trapped in an alternate universe and on the run as he tries to save his family. Shameik Moore reprises his voice role as the Marvel web-slinger in the upcoming film.
