Barishal won the toss and chose to bowl first. Chittagong then reached 194\/3 from 20 overs, setting a target of 195.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Khawaja Nafay scored 66 from 44 balls, while Parvez Hossain Emon remained unbeaten on 78 from 49. Their 121-run opening partnership gave Chittagong a strong base before Graham Clark added 44 from 23 deliveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Barishal responded with 57 runs and no wickets in the six-over powerplay. Tamim Iqbal made 54 from 29 balls, and Kyle Mayers later contributed 46 from 28. Despite slipping to 187\/7, Barishal reached 195 in 19.3 overs after Rishad Hossain scored an unbeaten 18 from six balls. The chase was the second-highest successful pursuit in a men\u2019s T20 final at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final can therefore be divided into several distinct betting phases: the pre-match assessment, the toss, Chittagong\u2019s opening partnership, the innings break, Barishal\u2019s powerplay, the middle-order wickets and the late chase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pre-match betting required an assessment of form and squad strength<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A player backing either side before the match could not know how the pitch would behave or which team would win the toss. Four days before the final, they defeated Chittagong by nine wickets in Qualifier 1, restricting them to 149\/9 and reaching 150\/1 in 17.2 overs. Towhid Hridoy scored an unbeaten 82, while Mohammad Ali took five wickets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That result supported a pre-match case for Barishal. They had already shown that their bowling attack could restrict Chittagong and that their top order could chase efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chittagong still had a credible route to victory. Their place in the final demonstrated that they had recovered from the qualifier defeat, while their top order contained players capable of setting a high total. A score of 194\/3 required Barishal to maintain almost ten runs per over throughout the chase. Chittagong had also preserved wickets while building the total, suggesting that it was not inflated by a brief, unsustainable hitting spell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The trade-off would have been the price. Once Chittagong established a large total, live odds on them would generally shorten. The bettor gained more information but sacrificed part of the potential return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is the central exchange in live betting: waiting can improve the quality of the evidence, but the market usually adjusts as soon as the advantage becomes visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Barishal\u2019s powerplay created a new live entry point<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Barishal matched Chittagong\u2019s powerplay score, reaching 57\/0 after six overs. Barishal had not lost a wicket and had already completed almost 30% of the chase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Backing Barishal at that point involved less uncertainty than selecting them before the match. Their openers had demonstrated that the pitch remained suitable for batting, and the target had not forced them into reckless shots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The probable live price would also have been shorter. Barishal reached 172\/4 in the 18th over, requiring 23 more runs with six wickets available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At that stage, a live Barishal selection would have appeared comparatively secure. The required rate was manageable, and an established batter remained at the crease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The situation changed again when Mayers fell at 172. Mahmudullah was dismissed one run later, and Nabi departed at 187. Chittagong had reduced Barishal to seven wickets down with eight runs still required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This sequence demonstrates why short in-play prices should not be treated as guarantees. They indicate that one outcome is considered more likely, but a single over can still transform a T20 chase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A bettor who backed Barishal before the late wickets ultimately won.
