It transforms ceramic sludge, a type of waste generated during tile productioninto classroom chalk. The project addresses two major challenges at the same time: reducing harmful industrial waste and helping solve the shortage of learning materials in underprivileged schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To increase its impact, the TileChalk formula has been made open-source, allowing other manufacturers to use and adopt the process freely.Commenting on the achievement, <strong>Mohammad Bayazed Bashar, Chief Business Officer of DBL Ceramics<\/strong>, said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are truly happy and humbled by this recognition. We started this journey to solve an internal process challenge and we never expected it to reach such a global stage. Awards are encouraging but our real success is ensuring zero dumping at our factories and delivering learning tools to underprivileged children.
