My close ones even call me to appreciate my work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are the words of popular contemporary singer and music director Hafiz Baula, who has already established himself as a successful vocalist, music director, lyricist, and composer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an exclusive interview with this reporter, he shared his dreams and realities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A well-known face in the media world, Hafiz Baula\u2019s full name is Md. Hafijur Rahman. He was born and raised in Islampur village under Ballamjhar Union of Gaibandha district. Passionate about music from childhood, he regularly performed at local programs and in his school. Having lost his father at a young age, he received strong support from his mother in his musical journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hafiz Baula began his musical training at the age of seven under a local mentor, Naru Babu. Later, he received training in various aspects of music, including classical music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He started his journey in the music industry in 2008 with the song <em>\u201cPoraner Bandhob.\u201d<\/em> His first solo album gained significant attention. Later, he released a song titled <em>\u201cOshantir Ma-o Morenai,\u201d<\/em> which earned him considerable recognition in the audio industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alongside singing, Hafiz Baula began working as a music director in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So far, he has composed more than 4,000 original songs, created tunes for over 400 songs, and written more than 100 original songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has released around 350 original songs in his own voice, many of which have become popular. Several of his songs have trended on social media platforms like TikTok, Facebook Reels, and YouTube. He currently has over a hundred unreleased original songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has collaborated with many renowned lyricists and composers in the country, including Hasan Matiur Rahman, Delowar Arjuda Saraf, Ikram Uddin, RJ Rubel, Ahmed Rabbani, Shafiqul Islam Rana, Mallik Russell, Russell Kabir, Plabon Qureshi, Tanzir Ahmed Shakib, Rasedul Islam Chand, Dr. Sohel Masud, and many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For his contributions to music, Hafiz Baula has received more than 25 awards from various top organizations. Recently, he has been nominated for the Channel i Best Folk Singer award in the Palli Geeti and Maromi categories this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of his popular songs include <em>\u201cMon Majhi,\u201d \u201cShomoy Khubi Kom,\u201d \u201cShukh Mele Nai Tate,\u201d \u201cMon Bhangar Bichar,\u201d \u201cDin Din Puran Hoia Jachhi,\u201d \u201cAmar Koiljar Pakhi Re,\u201d \u201cJabbajjibon Jail,\u201d \u201cKi Labh Hoilo Bondhu Tomar,\u201d \u201cNoshto Jibon Tare Niya,\u201d \u201cKi Je Dhora Khaisi,\u201d \u201cBondhur Prem Bhikhari,\u201d \u201cBhaver Manush,\u201d \u201cJamin Dilo Na,\u201d \u201cDeho Bari,\u201d<\/em> and <em>\u201cVul To Manusheri Hoy.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-3a88641f wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the popular songs he has directed are: <em>\u201cMoron Bujhi Dakitache\u201d<\/em> and <em>\u201cShomoy Khubi Kom\u201d<\/em> sung by Fazlur Rahman Babu; <em>\u201cMon Bhangar Bichar\u201d<\/em> by Shafi Mondol; <em>\u201cKandaiya Ki Paili Shukh\u201d<\/em> by Anwar Fakir; <em>\u201cAmi Morle Dukkho Diba Kare\u201d<\/em> by Moriyom; <em>\u201cBhobonodi\u201d<\/em> by Rajib Shah; <em>\u201cVul Bojhar Manush Beshi\u201d<\/em> by Raju Mondol; and <em>\u201cAbeg-e Ar Kaj Kore Na\u201d<\/em> by Ikram Uddin, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/thebangladeshtoday.com\/?p=33364\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">View Post(opens in a new tab)<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When asked, Hafiz Baula said, \u201cI have been involved with music since childhood. Music runs in my blood.
