With financial support from Human Concern International (HCI) and implementation by Shushilan, a winter clothing distribution program was held on Saturday for students under the Child Sponsorship Program (CSP) at Rohingya Camp 04.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The distribution ceremony took place at the camp\u2019s Darbar Hall at 10:00 am, aiming to protect vulnerable children and their families from the severity of the winter season. A total of 239 students residing in Camp 04 received winter assistance through this initiative. Under the program, each student received a high-quality comforter and a jacket, while their mothers were provided with warm shawls to help them cope with the falling temperatures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was attended by the Camp in Charge (CiC) and Deputy Secretary Suraya Akter Sweaty. The distribution program was supervised by Mustafa Bakuluzzaman, Deputy Director of Shushilan. Kazi Faisal Kabir, Monitoring Officer, was present to support and oversee the overall monitoring of the distribution process. Md. Naimul Hasan, Compliance Officer of HCI, attended the event as a key representative of the donor organization, ensuring compliance and transparency. Representatives from camp management, including Iqbal Hossan, CMO, and Md. Masud Rana, Information Assistant, were also present during the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Organizers noted that displaced families living in the camp\u2019s temporary shelters face acute hardship during winter due to inadequate housing and limited resources. Beneficiaries expressed relief and gratitude for the timely support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
