TBT DESK: Dhaka is set to host the NRB Global Convention on 30 December 2025, billed as the largest-ever gathering of expatriate Bangladeshis, bringing together professionals, entrepreneurs and policymakers from home and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The convention will see participation from Bangladeshi expatriates representing nearly 25 countries<\/strong>, including entrepreneurs, business leaders, doctors, engineers, scientists, university teachers and IT professionals. Large delegations are also expected from several bilateral chambers and business bodies, including the America-Bangladesh Chamber, Canada-Bangladesh Chamber, British-Bangladesh Chamber, UK-BBCCI, Bangladesh Business Council (Dubai), Singapore-Bangladesh Chamber, Japan-Bangladesh Chamber, Korea-Bangladesh Chamber and Australia-Bangladesh Chamber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Alongside the expatriate delegates, representatives from leading local business groups and chambers<\/strong> will also attend, with the aim of strengthening networking and collaboration between domestic professionals and NRB entrepreneurs. Senior government policymakers<\/strong> are expected to join the event as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The convention is being organised by NRB World<\/strong>, the largest platform for expatriate Bangladeshis, with NRB Family Support<\/strong> and Business America Magazine<\/strong> serving as co-organisers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Planned as a day-long programme<\/strong>, the convention will feature a series of sector-focused seminars covering health, education, development, the economy and information technology<\/strong>, among others. Renowned personalities from both Bangladesh and the diaspora will take part as keynote speakers and panellists<\/strong>. The event will also host the NRB Awards<\/strong>, recognising expatriate Bangladeshis for their significant contributions across various sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Enamul Haque Enam<\/strong>, founder of NRB World, said the primary objective of this year\u2019s convention is to build an effective bridge between Bangladesh and its global diaspora.
