{"id":31479,"date":"2025-12-09T12:59:22","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T12:59:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebangladeshtoday.com\/?p=31479"},"modified":"2025-12-09T12:59:47","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T12:59:47","slug":"govt-chalks-out-national-programme-on-martyred-intellectuals-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebangladeshtoday.com\/?p=31479","title":{"rendered":"Govt chalks out national programme on Martyred Intellectuals\u2019 Day"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The government has chalked out &nbsp;a number of national-level programmes to observe the Martyred Intellectuals\u2019 Day 2025 on December 14 with due respect.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">President Mohammed Shahabuddin will place a wreath at the Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals\u2019 Memorial at 7:05 am and Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus will lay a wreath at 7:06am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bangladesh Television as well as other private TV channels will broadcast the programme live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the leadership of liberation war affairs adviser, family members of the martyred intellectuals and the wounded and present freedom fighters will place wreaths at the Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals Memorial at 7:22 am and at Rayer Bazar Killing Ground Memorial at 8:30 am on the same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Besides, various political and social organizations along with people from all walks of life will place wreaths at the Martyred Intellectuals\u2019 Memorial at 8:30 am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marking the day, the President and the Chief Adviser will issue commemorative messages.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Discussions highlighting the significance of the day will be held at the district and upazila levels.
