Robi Axiata PLC and Save the Children Bangladesh have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly promote digital inclusion and skills development among adolescents and young people nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The agreement was signed recently in Dhaka by ASM Rahmat Ullah, Interim Deputy Country Director of Save the Children Bangladesh, and Shahed Alam, Chief Corporate and Regulatory Officer of Robi Axiata PLC. It is part of both organizations\u2019 endeavor to equip youths with the expertise so they can navigate and accelerate their integration and progress in key and emerging sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under this partnership, adolescents and youth from across Bangladesh will receive training in digital skills, entrepreneurship, and freelancing. Participants will also gain access to internet connectivity and digital tools to help them build their skills and engage effectively in the digital space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Robi and Save the Children will further collaborate on school-based programmes designed to strengthen digital literacy, enhance the capacity of youth-focused community hubs, and promote innovative awareness initiatives through digital platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking at the event, ASM Rahmat Ullah, Interim Deputy Country Director of Save the Children Bangladesh, said, \u201cDigital education and inclusion are essential to unlocking the potential of Bangladesh\u2019s young population. Many young people still lack access to technology. Through this initiative, we aim to enhance their skills while extending opportunities that can help them become socially and economically self-reliant.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shahed Alam, Chief Corporate and Regulatory Officer of Robi Axiata PLC, said, \u201cWe are committed to using technology to bring about positive social change.
