{"id":29608,"date":"2025-08-19T13:27:05","date_gmt":"2025-08-19T13:27:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebangladeshtoday.com\/?p=29608"},"modified":"2025-08-19T13:27:06","modified_gmt":"2025-08-19T13:27:06","slug":"mytv-chairman-nasir-uddin-sathi-placed-on-5-day-remand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebangladeshtoday.com\/?p=29608","title":{"rendered":"MyTV Chairman Nasir Uddin Sathi placed on 5-day remand"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Dhaka court on Monday placed MyTV Chairman Nasir Uddin Sathi on a five-day remand in a murder case filed with Jatrabari Police Station, reports UNB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Zia Uddin Ahmed passed the order when inspector of CID and also the investigating officer of the case Khan Md Erfan produced him before the court with seven-day remand prayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Detectives arrested Nasir Uddin from Dhaka\u2019s Gulshan area on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was an accused in a murder case filed with Jatrabari police station in connection with the July uprising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the case statement, Asadul Haque Babu was killed during the July uprising in Jatrabari area on August 5, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joynal Abedin, father of Asadul, filed a case against 25 people including Sheikh Hasina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nasir Uddin was the 22<sup>nd<\/sup> accused in the case while his son Touhid Afridi was no 11 accused in the case.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Dhaka court on Monday placed MyTV Chairman Nasir Uddin Sathi on a five-day remand in a murder case filed with Jatrabari Police Station, reports UNB.
