{"id":27226,"date":"2025-03-09T11:30:17","date_gmt":"2025-03-09T11:30:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thebangladeshtoday.com\/?p=27226"},"modified":"2025-03-09T11:30:18","modified_gmt":"2025-03-09T11:30:18","slug":"inflation-continues-to-fall-as-it-eases-further-to-9-32-in-february","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thebangladeshtoday.com\/?p=27226","title":{"rendered":"Inflation continues to fall as it eases further to 9.32% in February"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>TBT DESK: Bangladesh's general point-to-point inflation rate has been declining as it slightly eased further in February last, reaching 9.32 % down from 9.94 % in January 2025.<br>According to the latest data from the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), the decline was mainly driven by a fall in food inflation.<br>In February 2025, the BBS data showed that point-to-point food inflation declined to 9.24 %, down from 10.72 % in January 2025.<br>Meanwhile, the non-food inflation rate showed a slight increase reaching 9.38 % in February, up from 9.32 % in January 2025.<br>The point-to-point inflation rate both in the urban and rural areas also declined last month.
