Annual book fair under the auspices of Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) begins on January 5. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed will inaugurate the 10-day fair on the premises of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SCBA president Barrister AM Mahbub Uddin will preside over the inaugural ceremony while acting secretary Md Mahfuzur Rahman (Milon) will conduct the function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year the fair will have 48 stalls to sell books on different subjects, especially on law legal reference, politics and children\u2019s literature, said SCBA administrative officer Md Rabiul Hasan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon said the book fair on the Supreme Court premises began in 2015 when he was the secretary of the association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The legal profession is an intellectual job and book is an integral part of this job. This fair is very helpful for lawyers in collecting their professional books, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This initiative has further enhanced the prestige of the SCBA and lawyers of the apex court are becoming benefited greatly from this fair,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
