Biman Bangladesh Airlines\u2019 new managing director and CEO, Dr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman today affirmed the state-owned carrier\u2019s commitment to strict compliance to rules and accountability at all level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo one involved in corruption will evade scrutiny,\u201d he said while exchanging views with the members of the Aviation and Tourism Journalists' Forum of Bangladesh (ATJFB) at Balaka, Biman\u2019s headquarters in the capital today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"Everyone must adhere to the rules. No one can escape if they engage in corruption,\" he added. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meeting, Rahman highlighted recent operational improvements of Biman and underlined the importance of maintaining ethical standards in the state-owned carrier\u2019s operations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rahman noted that Biman has a significant improvement in On-Time Performance (OTP) compared to previous months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized that strict monitoring and accountability have been ensured in all areas, from cabin crew to ground staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"We want Biman to progress, and that will contribute to the development of Bangladesh. Our responsibility is to create conducive environment for the next generation,\" he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also highlighted the need for transparency and free access to information as essential tools for fostering a corruption-free working environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ATJFB President Tanzim Anwar and General Secretary (acting) Baten Biplob also spoke on the occasion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
