DHAKA,  – A special tribunal today set July 18 for submitting probe report in the case lodged under Digital Security Act against Sefayetullah alias Sefu’Da, a Bangladeshi expatriate living in Vienna, Austria, for vilifying Holy Quran.

Judge As Shams Jaglul Hossain of Dhaka Cyber Crime Tribunal set the date as police’s Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit failed to submit the report today.

Lawyer Md Alim Al Razi filed the case on April 23 and the court had asked CTTC to submit the report after probing the case.

The plaintiff in his plea said Sefu’da, infamous for his foul talk on Facebook live, vilified Holy Quran on April 9. Razi, like millions others got offended by his act and decided to take refuge of law to bring the culprit to justice.
