DHAKA,   – Jatiya Party(JP) Co-Chairman GM Quader will act as the party’s chairman in absence of HM Ershad.

As per the section 20/1/Ka of the JP constitution, Ershad has entrusted Quader with the task of acting as the chairman in his absence, a JP press release said here today.

Ershad said GM Quader will discharge duties as party’s chairman during his absence or stay abroad, it added.
