DHAKA  – The government has fixed Taka 128,000 as air fares for Haj pilgrims this year, reducing Taka 10,191 comparing to the last year’s Taka 138,191.

“Air fares for the Haj pilgrims ware Taka 138,191 in the last year. But is has been fixed Taka 128,000, reducing Taka 10,191,” State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali said at a press conference after an inter-
ministerial meeting held at the conference room of his ministry in the city.

State Minister for Religious Affairs Advocate Sheikh Md Abdullah, Secretary of the Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry Md Mohibul Haque and Secretary of the Religious Affairs Ministry Md Anisur Rahman attended the
meeting among others.

Mahbub Ali said the Bangladesh Biman will perform its duty properly so that the people could perform Haj smoothly. He sought cooperation from all in reducing suffering during Haj.
