Switzerland beat Serbia 2-1 in World Cup

DHAKA – Switzerland kept their qualifying hope alive as the country came from behind to record by an exciting 2-1 victory against Serbia in the ground E encounter of FIFA World Cup 2018 held in the early hour of Saturday at Kaliningrad Stadium in Russia.

In the day’s match, Serbia shot into lead into 5th minutes as Mitrovic found the back of net with a fine header (1-0)

Xhaka restore parity for Switzerland in the 53rd minutes with a gem of a goal a thunderous volley at the far corner of the net (1-1).

running with him and in the end he slotted past the onrushing Serbian goalkeeper Stojkovic to make the score line 2-1.

Switzerland has now earned 4 points and Serbia remain on 3, both of them has played two matches. Brazil also in this group has accumulated 4 points
from two matches. Serbia will face Brazil and Switzerland with face Costa Rica in their last crucial match, both matches will be played on June 27.
