Md Alamgir Hossain, son of Maniknagar, Kalwar, Satkhira, Bangladesh, has received the honorary title of ‘Dato’ from the state rulers of Malaysia as a distinguished businessman.
Recently Sultan Ahmad Shah of Pahang State of Malaysia awarded him this title. It is given in recognition of contribution, outstanding achievement or service to society. ‘Dato’ is the highest social honorific title given by the king of the country.
Distinguished individuals, especially academics, businessmen and politicians, are given this honorary title by the King of Malaysia or the Sultan of their state.
This title is equivalent to the British ‘Sir’ and is always used in written or spoken work. These titleholders enjoy VIP privileges at any event in Malaysia.
Md. Alamgir Hossain lives with his family in Puchong, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia since 2009. He is a well-known face in the world of man power as a successful businessman. It has its own offices in Dhaka and Kuala Lumpur. In this regard, Md. Alamgir Hossain said, there is no alternative to hard work.
