TBT Report : At Babuganj Upazila Parishad Auditorium, Ashu-Bajlur Rahman Welfare Foundation organized a ceremony on Saturday for the students who obtained GPA 5 (A+) in the SSC 2023 examination of the upazila in Barishal.

President of Ashu-Bazlur Rahman Welfare Foundation Md. Bazlur Rahman presided over the event while Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) of the University of Dhaka Professor Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal graced the event as the chief guest.

Md. Atiqur Rahman Atiq, Chief Advisor of Ashu-Bazlur Rahman Welfare Foundation inaugurated the event.  Dean of the Faculty of Arts, University of Dhaka Professor Dr. Abdul Bashir, Dean of Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences Professor Dr. Md. Zillur Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Biological Sciences Prof. Dr. AKM Mahbub Hasan, Treasurer of Barishal University Professor Dr. Badruzzaman Bhuiyan Kanchan, DIG Abul Kalam Azad, Barishal Cadet College Principal Lt Col Raihan Ahmed (PSS), Muladi Upazila Awami League General Secretary and Muladi Upazila Parishad Chairman Tarikul Hasan Khan Mithu, Babuganj Upazila Awami League General Secretary and Rahmatpur Union Parishad Chairman Mridha Muhammad Akter Uz Zaman, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Md. Iqbal Ahmed Azad, Jahangir Nagar Union Parishad Chairman Md. Kamrul Ahsan Khan Himu, Dehergoti Union Parishad Chairman Md. Moshiur Rahman were present as special guests.  Nusrat Shimur, Lecturer of the Department of Oceanography, University of Dhaka facilitated the program.

Moreover, leaders of various educational institutions, students who obtained GPA 5, various political and civil society leaders were also present at the reception.
