Sujit Roy Nandi, the Organizing Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, emphasized that under the vigilant leadership of Sheikh Hasina, the people of our nation can move without fear, as she remains steadfast and watchful. The Awami League government is dedicated to the welfare of the people of Bangladesh. As long as Sheikh Hasina holds the power, the people of the country will not experience scarcity of sustenance. They can enjoy safety and tranquility in their lives.

Nandi expressed these during his address as the chief guest at a public rally held at Munsirhat High School grounds in Chauddagram, Cumilla, on a Saturday afternoon. He added that the upcoming twelfth election will play pivotal role in ensuring the continued path of development under Sheikh Hasina’s guidance. He emphasized that victory for the Awami League in this election is not just important, but imperative.

He further stressed the significance of unity within the Awami League asserting that a unified front can overcome any opposition. He called upon all individuals to collaborate for the betterment of the region. Nandi lauded Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the visionary leader who liberated the Bengali people and inspired them to move forward, and described Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as a torchbearer, working tirelessly to realize Bangabandhu’s dream of a prosperous nation, Sonar Bangla.

Former railways minister and Cumilla South District Awami League (AL) General Secretary (GS) Mujibul Haque, MP and Chauddagram Upazila Awami League President and Upazila Parishad Chairman Abdus Sobhan Bhuiyan Hasan spoke as special guests among others.

Abul Kashem, President of Munsirhat Union Awami League, presided over the event while leaders and activists of the upazila Awami League and its associate organizations were present at that time.
