Sylhet Balaganj Constituency Hashampur District, Mahbubur Rahman and Shaheda Begum’s second child Kamrul Alom. He is known as Hafez Kamrul Alom on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. After finishing primary school education , he went to Islamic Institute [Madrasa]. After the Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC), he voluntarily completed the Hifzul Qur’an within two years . The soulful recitation of Hafez Kamrul Alom has been spread in various countries of the world by social media . This year he led Taraweeh prayers in the month of Ramadan at Masjid Al-Inara in Fuvahmulah City, Maldives.

Hafez Kamrul Alom said that a large group of Maldivians watched the video of the recitation linked on YouTube to invite him to led Taraweeh prayers in the Maldives. Later they searched and found me Bangladeshis and contacted me through expatriate Bangladeshis. He is quite capable of imitating Haramain Sharif’s Imam, Sheikh Abdul Rahman As Sudais recitation . Even recitation is very similar. Because of this he became more popular.
