TBT Report : Jobaer Alam, former Chairman and Associate Professor of the Department of Oceanography, University of Dhaka, as well as Acting Editor and Publisher of The Bangladesh Today paid a courtesy call on Md Abdul Wahed Bahadur, Chairman of Jaldhaka Upazila Parishad and former General Secretary of Awami-Juba League.
During the bilateral meeting, they discussed various issues relating to Jaldhaka Upazila. Jobaer Alam expressed his gratitude to the Chairman for his reputation in the socio-political development of the upazila and hoped to work with him and everyone else to achieve further social and economic development.
The Chairman, in turn, expressed his gratitude to Jobaer Alam for the meeting and the exchange of views. He also praised Jobaer Alam as a source of pride for the upazila, who has always cooperated in various developmental activities. Furthermore, he noted that news of the upazila’s developmental activities regularly appears in the national English daily, The Bangladesh Today, and he expects this trend to continue in the future.
