BJABS gets new committee

Ahad Hossain Tutul (Deepto TV) has been elected as the president of the Broadcast Journalists Association of Bangladesh Secretariat (BJABS), an organization of television journalists working in the secretariat beat, for the next two years. And Ruhul Amin Tuhin (RTV) elected as the general secretary. The Executive Committee of the organization for the period of 2023-25 announced at the Family Day and AGM held at La Riveria Resort in Rupganj, Narayanganj on Saturday. Two people have been elected as vice president of the new committee for the term of 2023-25. Rafiqul Basar (Channel i) and Sheikh Md. Aminur Rahman (Somoy TV). Besides, Rakib Hasan (My TV) and Said Haider (Ekator TV) have become joint general secretaries. Finance Secretary Nafiul Islam Linkon (Channel 24), Organizational Secretary Mohammad Ali (Mashranga TV), publication and training Secretary Nurunnabi (Ekushey TV), office and information technology Secretary Munnaf Rashid (Ekhon TV) and cultural Secretary Mahbub Kabir Chapal (ATN Bangla) have been elected. Abul Kalam Azad (Boishakhi TV), Jalal Uddin (NTV), Haider Ali (News 24) and K Z Sohail (Banglavision) were elected as executive members. The members of the new committee expressed their confidence to undertake various programs in the coming days to acquire the professional skills of broadcast journalists working in the Bangladesh secretariat.
