Today, November 21, 2022, is the “fourth death anniversary” of prominent educationist and former businessman of Dashmina Bandor, Late Alhajj Abdur Rahman Miah alias Rahman Master. On this day in 2018, this great man passed away due to his coming of age. He was the founding teacher of Government Model Secondary School of Dashmina Upazila of Patuakhali District and taught at Dashmina Senior Madrasah as well. He was also the head teacher of Begum Arefatunnecha Girls Secondary School. Moreover, served as the founding Senior Vice President of the DNC Business Association of Dashmina Bazar. His death was deeply mourned by all in this is Upazila as he is an inspiration in the coastal area of south Bengal as an ideal educator, businessman and a devout Muslim often preaching his ideals among the younger generation. The family members pray for his departed souls and request everyone to pray for his departed soul and his eternal peace.
