Ziaul Faruq Apurbo and Sadia Ayman to star in director Shihab Shaheen’s new web-film ‘Maya Shalik’. The web film will be release on OTT platform Binge.

The screenplay of the film was written by Jahan Sultana. The story of the web-film revolves around a military officer who had to take early retirement due to an accident. The film is a romantic, fantasy film that will show Apurbo playing the role of that ex-military officer who falls in love with a mysterious girl named Sarah which was played by Sadia Ayman.

The shooting of the film took place in various places including Chitagong, Bashkhali, Gazipur and some nearby places around Dhaka.

Apurbo said “I was supposed to take part in this web-film for a long time and I am happy that the film is finally happening. I have a good understanding with the director. I hope audience will appreciate the film”.

The web-film will mark the first project of Sadia and Apurbo. Due to this Sadia seems to be very excited about the project.

“I never thought I will be working with Apurbo as I have started my acting career. It is like a dream for me,” said Sadia.

The web-film ‘Maya Shalik’ is expected to be released by end of this year.
