TBT Report: Barrister Syed Sayedul Haque Suman paid a courtesy call on the chairman of editorial board of The Bangladesh Today (TBT) Jobaer Alam at the capital’s Tejgaon office on Thursday and discussed various issues relating to drugs and corruption. Barrister Sumon said, drug is one of the main problems of the country and it is causing serious health problems.

Sumon said, many influential people including political leaders, police and drug control officers are involved here and thousands of drug carriers or retailers are doing their business in broad daylight.

He further said, it should be stopped and everybody should come forward in this regard. Regarding corruption he said, ongoing development will be seriously hindered if corruption goes on.

During the discussion, officials of The Bangladesh Today were present.
