CHATTOGRAM: Activists of local Awami League (AL) brought out a procession and held a rally here protesting at the evil politics and anarchy of BNP in the name of politics.

Led by Helal Akbor Chowdhury Babor, city AL leader and former central deputy finance affairs secretary of Jubo League, the ruling party activists brought out a large procession from Nandankanon DC Hill in the port city and held a rally at the same venue after parading different city streets with procession on Friday evening.

Addressing as the chief guest at the rally, Babor said that BNP in the name of politics wants to obstruct the current development activities of the government by resorting to different anarchic activities.

He said the rally and procession was arranged to give a clear of foiling such negative activities in Chattogram.

While presiding over the rally, former central Jubo League leader Gazi Mohammad Jafor Ullah called upon local people to be alert so that none can disrupt law and order situation and ongoing development activities in the country.

Former central Jubo League leader Shibu Prasad Chowdhury, Nurul Azam Rony, former president of Chattogram city unit Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), Liton Chowdhury Rinky, human affairs development secretary of city BCL, among others, addressed at the rally.
