Art exhibition in memory of Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib

TBT Report : On August 6, an art exhibition titled ‘Praronadaini Maa’ dedicated to Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib is set to be launched. The exhibition will remain open to the visitors at Shahbag’s National Museum.

Begum Mujib was born on August 8 at Tungipara village of Gopalganj. She has made an immense contribution at the backdrop of Bengali’s struggle for freedom. She is a source of inspiration to many including the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. People still revere her and love her for the sacrifices she endured for the creation of a homeland for the Bengali nation.

On her 92nd birthday, Bangladesh Awami League’s Sub-committee on Education and Human Resources is organizing the art exhibition titled ‘Praronadaini Maa’. The Minister for Road Transport and Bridges and the General Secretary of Awami League Obaidul Quader will grace the event as the chief guest. Dr. Abdul Khaleque, the Chairman of the sub-committee will be presiding over the event. Noted Educationist and Environmental Scientist Dr Nasreen Ahmad and legendary Painter Hashem Khan will be present as guests of honor while Education and Human Resources Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, Shamsun Nahar Chapa will deliver the welcome address.
