Popular actress Tania Ahmed and model-actress Nadia Ahmed have worked together on a drama serial titled ‘Pratikkha’. Scripted by Masum Shahriar, the drama has been produced under Bangladesh Television.
Nadia Ahmed informed us that the nine episodes drama serial will be aired on BTV in two months. The shooting of the drama serial was completed at various locations in the capital including Uttara and BTV.
Regarding acting in the play, Tania Ahmed said, “through the story of the drama technical development of Bangladesh Government such as prevention of child marriage, free education for children, prevention of child labor and others will be depicted. The dramatist has brilliantly tried to highlight the development of government as well as depicted social decay and how to prevent it. And as an artist, I acted in this drama of my responsibility. I wish audiences like the drama.”
Nadia Ahmed was in America for a long time. She returned to the country on July 23. After returning home, she participated in the shooting of a drama serial. And immediately after that, she took part in the shooting of the serial ‘Pratikkha’ on July 30.
I can’t remember the last time I worked with Tania Apu. After a long break, I love to work with her in the same drama. In the drama, I am playing the role of Aditi, who is an independent and intelligent girl. This is a social awareness-based story. For the first time, I acted wearing pilot’s attires for this drama. I like it very much. I think this drama should be watched by every family in Bangladesh – to keep a conscious eye on their own family. My sincere gratitude to BTV for producing the drama with such a wonderful story.”
Tania Ahmed said that she is acting in another serial titled ‘Palta Hawa’. Meanwhile, Nadia Ahmed will take part in the shooting of Kaiser Ahmed’s drama ‘Bakulpur Returns’ in Manikganj tomorrow.
