President Abdul Hamid on Tuesday released the inaugural envelope and commemorative stamp on the occasion of Digital Census and Household Census 2022 at Bangabhaban.

President’s press secretary Joynal Abedin told reporters that the president was informed about various issues of census which will be held across the country from June 15 to June 21.

President Hamid said that population and household censuses are very important in formulating and implementing proper development plan.

The president instructed the authorities concerned to go from house to house and collect accurate information.

Planning Minister MA Mannan, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Mustafa Jabbar, Minister of State for Planning Shamsul Alam, concerned secretary and secretaries to the president were present.
