Govt. presents people with another good budget: Shahriar

RAJSHAHI – State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, MP, has said the present government has presented the people with another good budget as it believes in improvement of both living and livelihood condition of the public.

He said the government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly for transforming the country into a happy and prosperous one and the proposed budget is a reflection of the effort.

He was addressing a pre-Iftar public meeting on Arani Monmohani High School premises under Bagha upazila in the district on Friday as chief guest. Arani Poura Awami League hosted the meeting.

Chaired by Poura Awami League President Shahiduzzaman Shahid, the meeting was addressed, among others, by Arani Poura Mayor Muktar Hossain and local Awami League leaders Ashraful Islam Babul, Sirajul Islam, Sadique Kabir and Matiur Rahman.

Shahriar Alam said Bangladesh has attained remarkable success in various development indicators.

He said the country at present is progressing fast in every sector, especially in improving foreign policy, ICT, food production, power generation and distribution, education, women empowerment, foreign remittance
earning, GDP and per capita income.

He renewed his government’s vow to turn the country into a peaceful abode in South Asia.

Shahriar said the Awami League government would once again come to power as the people would re-elect the party for continuing the ongoing development spree and improving their living and livelihood condition.
