DHAKA, – President M Abdul Hamid today expressed deep shock at the death of Ayub Bacchu, one of the country’s top rock musicians and founder of popular band LRB, who died of a cardiac arrest at his Magbazar residence here.

In a condolence message, the President mourned the death of the legendary singer.

Abdul Hamid prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Ayub Bacchu fell sick at his Magbazar residence this morning and subsequently he was sent to Square Hospital around 9 am where doctors declared him dead. He was 56.
