NETRAKONA,  – State Minister for Social Welfare Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru today said the incumbent government is implementing various pragmatic programmes for spreading the light of quality education across the country.

“The present government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is implementing many time-befitting programmes to reach the light of quality education in every corner and ensure congenial academic atmosphere in the country’s all the educational institutions”, he said.

Khasru said these while inaugurating the two-day long 40th founding anniversary of Netrakona Model Shishu School in college road area here.

Chaired by the convenor of the festival celebration committee Abdul Wahed, the inaugural function was addressed, among others, by Habiba Rahman Khan Shefali, MP, deputy commissioner of Netrakona Kazi Mohammad Abdur Rahman, police super Akber Ali Munshi, chairman of Netrakona Zilla Parishad Prasanta Kumer Roy, mayor of Netrakona municipality Nazrul Islam Khan and president of Netrakona district Awami League Motiur Rahman Khan.

Principal of the school Mazharul Islam conducted the inaugural function which was followed by a colorful musical soiree based on popular songs.
