JAMALPUR,  – District administration allocated 35,700 blankets for distribution among the cold-hit people in the district today. According to district relief and rehabilitation office sources, the blankets were allocated for distribution among the cold-hit people in 68 unions and eight municipality areas in the district.

The blankets have been sent to upazila headquarters for distribution. The sources said each union and municipality was allotted 470 blankets. District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer Md Nayeb Ali said Ministry of Relief and Rehabilitation also allocated Tk85 lakh for purchasing blankets for distribution.
