Shobuj Raihan, department of political science (8th batch), and Mahidul Islam, department of public administration (10th batch) were elected as the president and general secretary respectively of the new Executive Committee of Jagannath University Debating Society (JnUDS) for the academic year 2018-2019.
JnU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mijanur Rahman announced the result of the election around 3:00 pm on Thursday while JnU Proctor Dr. Noor Mohammad was the Chief Election Commissioner of the polls.
Other elected office bearers are: Kalid Hossain as vice-president, Injamamul Haque as joint secretary, Md. Junaid Hossain as office secretary, Ifthakarul Islam organizing secretary and Arifujjaman as finance secretary.
