Dr Hasan for turning BD into a developed country by 2041

Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud has said the government’s aim is to take the country to its desired destination and Bangladesh will be an exploitation and poverty free developed country by 2041.

“Our combined aim is to take the country to its dream destination. We’re observing birth centenary of Father of the Nation. Our dream is to turn Bangladesh into a development country by 2041. We’ll build such a country where poverty will not exist,” said Dr Hasan while speaking at a award distribution ceremony here at Friday night. Junior Chamber International (JCI) organised the event styled ‘JCI Toyp -2021’ award distribution at a hotel at Inani Beach here.

The minister said young entrepreneurs have been creating unique example of moral leadership. These youths have been turning the challenges into opportunities everywhere including business, science l and social issues at home and abroad. “We want to build the dream Bangladesh with the help of 6thes4e youths,” said Dr Hasan who is also the joint general secretary of ruling Bangladesh Awami League.

Dr Hasan said ‘electro-magnetic’ force will have to be built among the youths and these youths will build the future Bangladesh unitedly. He urged the youths to exercise human values and humanity.

JCI gave award to 10 outstanding youths as part of its plan to honors 10 brilliant youths under 40 every year. Saimun Sarwar Kamol, MP, Ashek Ullah Rafiq, MP, JCI’s executive committee vice-president Erfan Haque and Lisa Jahan, JCI’s national secretary general Rumana Chowdhury and vice-president Mahmud-Un-Nabi.

Those who got the awards this year were Barrister Iftekhar Junaid for legal affairs, Tajdin Hasan for humanitarian leadership, economist Dr Ashiqur Rahman, Monir Hossain for technological development, Zia Ashraf for entrepreneurship, Asif Zahir for business, Engineer Mehdi Hasan for academic excellence, Sashin Masud Hasan for personal excellence, Barrister Sheikh Fazle Nayem for political affairs and Al-Shahriar Ahmed for personal excellence.
