HABIGANJ, – The Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) today distributed agricultural incentives among 450 small and marginal farmers of Sadar upazila under the agricultural incentive and rehabilitation program of the district this morning.

District Awami League president Advocate Md Abu Zahir, MP, of Habiganj-3 constituency distributed the seeds and fertilizers, free of cost among the 450 farmers as agricultural incentives as the chief guest at a function held at the Sadar upazila parishad auditorium this morning.

Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Barnali Pal presided over the function.

The chief guest said the present government is farmer-friendly government. The government has taken various steps for farmer.

The government has given various agricultural equipments to 20 farmers at 75 percent subsidy under the Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE), the sources said.
