Dhaka University Centre of Excellence in Teaching & Learning (CoETL, DU) is organizing a series of talks for academics and researchers by renowned international speakers (teachers/researchers / CETL leaders/industry managers/policymakers). As a part of the series Integrity Services Investigator of Integrity and National Services, Canada Dr Bibhuti B. Roy virtually delivered a speech on “Industry academia linkage-translating research & innovation into product & process” on 23 October 2021.

Director of the Centre Prof. Dr. Sabita Rezwana Rahman presided over the function and delivered the welcome speech. Additional Director of the Centre Dr. A.T.M. Shamsuzzoha conducted the question-answer session.

Dr Bibhuti B. Roy in his speech focused on how higher education institutes can highly be benefitted from Industry-Academia Linkage (IAL). Academic research is carried out keeping in mind the social needs, he pointed out.

It may be mentioned that the DU, CoETL regularly organizes workshops/talks on the modules like teaching pedagogy, modern approaches to teaching & learning, research methodology & project proposals, quality assurance processes, and practice, communication skills of teachers, ethical aspects, and awareness of plagiarism for quality education in the university.
