DHAKA, – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Jatiya Party (JaPa) secretary general Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu.

In a message of condolence, she prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Bablu died while undergoing treatment at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital in Dhaka’s Shyamoli this morning. He was 66.
