RAJSHAHI,  – Two persons were killed as a pickup van collided head-on with a motorbike in Sabaihat area on the Rajshahi-Naogaon highway under Manda upazila in Naogaon district this morning.

Police sources said the deceased were identified as pickup van driver Shamim Hossain, 24, and motorbike rider Sanarul Islam, 28. Officer-in-Charge of Manda Police Station Shahinur Rahman said the accident took place when the pickup van collided head-on with the motorbike in the area, leaving the duo dead on the spot. He said the bodies were sent to hospital morgue and the ill-fated vehicles were seized.
