When a loved one belongs to someone else, a deep sense of emptiness settles in the heart and dreams begin to crumble. Betrayal, the pain of losing someone dear and the silent tears of lonely nights form the emotional backdrop of singer Mahfuza Rumi’s new original song, Somudro Jole.
The song has been released on Sangeeta Music’s YouTube channel. Written by lyricist Rima Khan Ani, it captures the anguish of a betrayed heart, the pain of losing a loved one and the feeling of losing oneself in loneliness.
The song marks the first original release featuring lyrics by Rima Khan Ani. Bashar Pankaj has composed the music, while Mahfuza Rumi’s emotive vocals add depth to the melancholic composition.
The song’s musical arrangement and visual presentation were produced under the supervision of Sangeeta Music. Since its release, Somudro Jole has attracted listeners’ attention and begun receiving praise.
Mahfuza Rumi is a regular singer on Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Bangladesh Betar. Through her latest release, she seeks to convey the emotions of love, separation and heartbreak to listeners.
