BOGURA,  – A man was killed and his son injured as a passengers’ bus hit their bicycle in Shajahanpur upazila of the district last night.

The deceased was identified as Shamim Hossain, 33, army personnel of Majhira cantonment, said Nannu Khan, sub-inspector (SI) of Shajahanpur  Thana.

He said the accident occurred when a passengers’ bus hit Shamim’s bicycle from behind around 8 pm in Majhira Bandor area, leaving him and his son critically injured.

They were brought to Bogura Combined Military Hospital where Shamim succumbed to his injuries.
