Kazi Sharmin Nahid Nupur known by her stage name Shabnur, is a Bangladeshi film actress. This Dhallywood queen Shabnur currently residing with her family in Sydney, Australia. Recently she has opened an account on Facebook and Instagram. To get the love of her fans this time the heroine opened a YouTube channel as well.

On Tuesday night she posted a video on her YouTube channel saying, ‘Friends I want to stay connected with you guys, want to be by your side and get your love’.

In 1993, Shabnur debuted in silver screen with co-actor Shabbir in the film titled ‘Chandni Raatey’, directed by Ehtesham. In 1994, she got her breakthrough in her second with co- actor Salman Shah in the film titled ‘Tumi Amar’. Shabnur co-acted with Salman until his death in 1996. She later acted with Omar Sunny, Riaz, Ferdous Ahmed, and Shakib Khan, among others.

In 2005, she won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in the movie titled ‘Dui Nayaner Alo’ directed by Mostafizur Rahman Manik. She was last seen in MM Sarkar’s unfinished film titled ‘Pagol Manush’.
