The sudden death of actor Salman Shah left a profound void in the Dhallywood film industry. At a time when the industry was mourning the loss of a beloved colleague, actor Amin Khan expressed his desire to complete Salman Shah’s unfinished films without any payment. In a recent interview, Amin Khan recalled the memories of that time.

Following Salman Shah’s death, media reports stated that Amin Khan had offered to complete the late actor’s unfinished films unconditionally and without remuneration.

Recalling the day of Salman Shah’s death, Amin Khan said, “The day Salman Shah left us, I was at the FDC. The sight of producers and directors crying that morning made me feel as though they had lost everything.”

Amin Khan said the idea of completing Salman Shah’s unfinished projects came to him after witnessing the situation.

“I felt that if I could somehow complete those unfinished projects by changing the storyline, if it was possible to continue the films without Salman, at least these people would be able to survive,” he said.

Amin Khan added, “At the time, I felt that if I could complete those unfinished projects, perhaps my friend’s soul would find peace. The people involved in those films had suffered so much. If I could ease their pain, I felt his soul would rest in peace. That was why I made the offer.”

Although Amin Khan had limited opportunities to work alongside Salman Shah in films, he said they shared a close personal bond.

“We did not work together in many films, but we spent a lot of time talking and hanging out together. That was what prompted me to make the offer,” he said.

Among Salman Shah’s unfinished films, Amin Khan eventually got the opportunity to work on ‘Shopner Nayok’.

“I got the opportunity to work on one film. There was scope to reshape the story and give it a new direction. That is why only one film could be completed. It was ‘Shopner Nayok’. The others may not have been possible because of their storylines,” he said.

Paying tribute to Salman Shah, Amin Khan said, “I always wish for my friend to rest in peace.”
