Advance collections without blocked seats currently stand at Rs 5.34 crore on 2.39 lakh tickets sold across 12,469 screenings, signaling accelerating momentum across key markets.

When comparing opening-day pre-sales on an equal footing, Drishyam 3 demonstrates significantly higher velocity than the 2022 instalment. While Drishyam 2 required its full pre-release window to hit Rs 6.93 crore gross on 2.15 lakh tickets, Drishyam 3 has achieved the same scale four days before release, driven by wider show allotment and higher urban occupancy rates.

In 2022, Drishyam 2 leveraged its Rs 6.93 crore advance booking to register an opening day net collection of Rs 15.38 crore (Rs 18.15 crore gross), with over 60 per cent of its Day 1 revenue coming from Friday evening walk-ins.

With Drishyam 3 projected to cross Rs 10–12 crore in opening-day advance collections by Thursday night, trade estimates project a massive Day 1 net opening in the range of Rs 22 crore to Rs 25 crore. If spot-booking trends across urban multiplexes mirror the second instalment, the film is positioned to target an opening weekend net total of Rs 80 crore to Rs 85 crore.
