Dhruba Music Station (DMS) has launched a new initiative to release digital solo albums by different artistes, seeking to revive the appeal of melody-driven music in an increasingly visual-oriented era. As the first installment of the series, DMS is set to release “Keu Bujhlo Na”, a nine-track solo digital album by popular vocalist Kazi Shuvo.

After a long hiatus, Kazi Shuvo is delighted to return with a solo album. Talking about the project, he said, “It brings me immense joy to release a solo album again after so many years. I’m deeply grateful to Dhruba dada for taking this risk during such a challenging time for the audio industry. Undoubtedly, this is an exceptional and commendable initiative, as it will further enrich the country’s audio sector. I hope the audience will not be disappointed.”

Dhruba Guha, musician and founder of DMS, said the initiative is part of the production house’s broader effort to take Bangla music to listeners around the world. “At a time when the realm of the auditory is increasingly losing ground to the visual amidst the relentless flow of time, I believe this initiative will rekindle interest in the genre,” he said.

The album features nine songs, with Kazi Shuvo exploring a diverse range of musical styles. The lyrics have been written by Tarun Munshi, Pagol Hasan, A Mizan, Jisan Khan Shuvo and others. The compositions were created by Tarun Munshi, Pagol Hasan, Kazi Shuvo, Jisan Khan Shuvo, Humayun Kabir and Hanif Khan. Rafi Mohammad, Ahmed Sajib and Adib Kabir handled the musical arrangements.

Singer Badhon Sarkar Puja also lent her vocal with Kazi Shuvo for a duet on one of the tracks.

According to DMS, “Keu Bujhlo Na” will soon be released simultaneously on major domestic and international music platforms, including YouTube and Spotify.
