Popular celebrities including Bidya Sinha Mim, Tanjin Tisha, Irfan Sajjad and Keya Payel are set to share personal stories and memories on a new car-cast show titled Long Drive.

The programme, produced by creative agency Idea Space, will be hosted by model and actress Masuma Rahman Nabila. Unlike a conventional studio talk show, the programme will capture informal conversations between Nabila and her celebrity guests while they are on the road.

Filmmaker Sanjoy Somadder has created the concept and will oversee the creative direction, while Ishti Ahmed is producing the show.

According to Somadder, Long Drive will explore different chapters of the guests’ lives, including their journey to success, their experience of buying their first cars, their current vehicles and memorable moments connected to driving.

“Long Drive is not simply a conventional celebrity talk show. It is a different kind of journey through the lives of celebrities. Through candid conversations inside the car, audiences will hear about their journey to success, the experience of buying their first car, their current driving experiences and various memories associated with cars,” Somadder said.

The show will also go beyond celebrity conversations. Some episodes will include fan moments and initiatives aimed at supporting disadvantaged children and marginalised people, according to the director.

Nabila, known for films such as Aynabaji, Toofan and Bonolota Sen, will bring the conversations to life while driving with the guests.

The format is expected to reveal lesser-known stories from their personal lives through a relaxed setting.

Producer Ishti Ahmed said the team wanted to connect the celebrities’ untold stories with the simple pleasure of driving.

“We have tried to bring together the untold stories of celebrities and the joy of their drives. At the same time, the show carries a small message about social responsibility alongside its entertainment value,” she said.

Produced by Idea Space, Cherry Presents Car-Cast Show Long Drive has Ispahani Tea as its tea partner and Korean Mart as its cosmetics partner.

The show will premiere soon on Content Space’s YouTube channel and Facebook page. It will also be available on streaming platform Doyel OTT.
